At Stinkers' Road House, a trucker-themed bar in Silver Lake, taxidermied skunk bottoms spew steam from the walls and Colt 45 is the favorite beer. Every Thursday is "The Cover-Up," when DJ Paul V spins nothing but cover songs for the hip, ironic-tee-shirted crowd.

PURRfect Partners is a non-profit, never-euthanize, all-volunteer cat rescue & adoption group. All cats are kept in foster homes while awaiting adoption. PURRfect Partners holds adoptions every weekend & cares for feral colonies: these kitties are humanely trapped, spayed/neutered, & released back in the same location in a program called trap-neuter-return (TNR).
